And the marketing so far includes a change in color, a mural, a hotline, an interview, and now anticipation for the “pink moon.”

Two weeks ago, a mural appeared in Los Angeles, gradually being painted over from Rodrigo’s signature purple to a new shade of pink. Recently, she released a message to her fans that included this: “You may think you have all the answers, but the universe has more to share. The writing is on the wall, but the first message may not paint the full picture,” and “Expect true clarity and renewal just after the pink moon.” The pink moon, expected to appear on April 1, has led fans to eagerly anticipate an album announcement then. A recent interview with British Vogue, in which she played three songs to her interviewer (Amel Mukhtar), further builds expectation, as the only thing fans know is how much Mukhtar enjoyed it. Expect to see Olivia Rodrigo everywhere once April comes.
